ERASAZ Legacy 33M – Carved Mulberry Saz

ERASAZ Legacy 33M brings the heritage of traditional saz making together with carefully selected tonewoods and an exceptional production process spanning many years.
 
The one-piece mulberry bowl and maple neck were shaped and then rested in the ERASAZ collection for eight years. After this extended seasoning period, the thoroughly dried woods were completed by hand with meticulous craftsmanship.
 
The carved mulberry bowl delivers a warm, powerful character, while the spruce soundboard provides a lively, balanced response. The maple fretboard forms a natural visual continuity with the neck, giving the instrument a clean, refined and distinctive appearance.
 
Ebony binding, the oval ebony headstock detail and rosewood pegs complete the understated design. The silky matte finish preserves the natural colour and grain of the wood.
 
Legacy 33M supports versatile stringing configurations. It can be set up with lower and middle paired courses, an upper bass and steel string, or in a short-neck-style 3–2–2 configuration.
 
With its strong tone, balanced response and exceptionally seasoned woods, Legacy 33M is one of ERASAZ’s limited-production instruments—crafted to be played for generations.
 
NATURAL WOOD CHARACTER
 
Each Legacy 33M bowl is individually carved from natural mulberry wood. Grain, colour transitions and knots therefore vary from one instrument to another. These variations are not defects; they are the unique signature of natural wood and genuine handcraftsmanship. Product photographs show actual instruments from this limited series. The natural grain of the instrument supplied may differ from the examples shown.
