Custom Abalone 11-String Fretless Banjo – Bancod

This ERASAZ Custom Bancod is an unmistakable fretless banjo distinguished by our exclusive New Zealand abalone mother-of-pearl fingerboard. The natural shell surface reveals vivid blue, green and turquoise reflections as the viewing angle changes, making the complete fretless playing surface the instrument’s defining visual signature.
 
Created as a special ERASAZ design rather than a standard production banjo, this model is made for performers and collectors who want commanding stage presence and true individuality. Its black oven-painted 29 cm aluminium body is paired with a darkened solid hornbeam neck, ebony fingerboard edging and a polished finish.
 
The 11-string configuration consists of five double courses plus one single string and may alternatively be used with six single strings. Mechanical tuning pegs and a synthetic head complete the build.
